I’m heading back to Esperanza Viva!
I am EXTREMELY excited to announce that I will be returning to my mission field in Puebla, Mexico, once again with Living Hope International!!! My main focus will be teaching English, bringing encouragement, and sharing hope with not only many young children, but an entire community of people. About 100 children live at the Esperanza Viva orphanage full-time. I am ready to get back to “my kids!” I plan to return to Puebla in August!
At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a 24-hour notice of the border closing, I returned to Wisconsin. After the 2019-20 school year, during the uncertainty of life, I decided to step back from full-time ministry in order to better prepare myself to one day return. I have been working in the Sheboygan Area School District as an Educational Assistant with multilingual students and as an interpreter for Hispanic families at two different elementary schools. I have adored this opportunity to grow and learn. My heart and passion, however, are still with the children and ministry of LHI in Puebla.
The leaders of Living Hope want me back! —and furthermore, have invited me to be part of developing a dual-language approach to education at the orphanage, in order to equip the children of the orphanage AND the children of the staff who serve there. Does that Sound perfect or what!?
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Is. 40:31…and I am ready to fly, once again! —Hannah
I believe in the power of prayer. This form of support is SO encouraging. Serving and loving this community in Mexico is a huge step of faith. I trust that God will provide not only the financial support through generous givers like you, but also the emotional and spiritual support as I undertake this next step. I need your prayers. I’d love to have a team of faithful people willing to be praying for not only me, but for LHI and anyone we reach.
I need to raise my own financial support to pay for food, housing, transportation, and other necessities in order to be fully present and focused on my ministry.
